Hello everyone for a second time. I’m Daz and am the SSAGO Chairperson for a second term (2007-2009) having previously been the SSAGO Publicity Officer in 2005-2006.

I’m currently studying an Engineering Doctorate at Loughborough Univeristy working for BAE Systems. I have been involved in SSAGO since my undergraduate days (a number of years now). My background is in Scouting since being a Cub at 114th Trentham Scout Group, although through the SSAGO group at Loughborough (SCOGUI) I have learnt a lot about the Girlguiding UK helping out at several local Guide events. In scouts I help out at 1st Nanpantan Scout Group, am a member of Scout Network as well as being involved in some of the big International Camps that happen around the country. I’m also a duty warden at the Oaks in Charnwood Campsite and most recently am working with the National Network Working Group on a new award for Scout Network.

And for all you Reps out their, I hope to keep all meeting short and sweet still and improve on the last AGM.
