Hi I’m Em, from the mighty Cardiff SSAGS although I spent my first three years of SSAGO with SSWIGS. I’m currently in my first year of a geography based PhD.

For the second year running I’m the only Guide on the exec. I started as a Brownie, have gone through Guides, Young Leaders and I’m currently Tawny Owl with a large, active Brownie unit. I’ve been on numerous international Guiding events and tagged along to some Scout ones too including the World Jamboree back in 2007.

This year I hope to keep up the good work of those on the exec last year, seeing through the implementation of the policies brought in. I also hope to increase the SSAGO publicity and through this attract new members and new clubs, fingers crossed! Finally, I’m excited about leading SSAGO into the centenary of Guiding, it should be an immense year for GirlguidingUK and I hope that SSAGO can join in with much of the fun.
