I’m reading design and technology education at Nottingham Trent (I’ve always wanted to say I’m reading at university what i actually mean is I’m a trainee teacher). This is my 5th year in SSAGO and 2nd on the exec having previously been the secretary. Whilst in SSAGO i have been the vice chair and then chair of Scogui, and also Rally chair for the Scogui rally in 2007. I have been in scouting since I was 6 as a beaver and I’m currently an assistant explorer scout leader and network member in Leicestershire. I am better know for my taste in fine head wear with a hat collection bigger then most university hall of residence rooms.

My target for this year is to make sure everyone completes their CRB forms correctly as well as sorting out any other membership issues as they arise. I also hope to rewrite ‘how to run a rally’ so that it is more concise and contains more up to date information about the events.
