Hey,
My name is Heather and I am a student at Edge Hill University. Unfortunately we don’t have a SSAGO club at my university so I am a Indie member of SSAGO. As a Indie member I have visited local SSAGO club and taken part in their activities. I am currently doing a Primary PGCE which is a great course but hard work.

I am a Cub Scout leader at the moment but I was a brownie and a Scout when I was younger. I am also a member of Ormskirk Scout Network. I got involved in SSAGO as soon as I started University (which helps when your brother is already a member!). I have also been going to rallies for most of that time and in my third year of my History degree I set up my own SSAGO club.

My plan for this year is to develop the advertising side of SSAGO by improving the posters and leaflets and trying to get to as many events to advertise as I can. I feel that by doing this we can get to more people and encourage more people to join. I will also liaise with other SSAGO clubs on when they are having freshers fair to try help with club promotions.
