This was created by Will Carr and Jennie MacDougall in 2007. It is to be awarded annually to a member of SSAGO in recognition of an outstanding achievement or contribution to Scouting, Guiding or SSAGO.

It is open to nominations, decided by the SSAGO exec and presented at the AGM, although the first award is to be made at the 2007 Summer Event and decided upon by the 2007 SSAGO Steering Group.
